How to Model a Distributed Business System Architecture

چکیده

This paper describes an approach to architectural modeling that is currently under development at Boston University’s School of Management. The approach builds both on our research on process modeling and systems design and also on our experience teaching design to students in the school’s MS·MBA program. The guide in its current form is focused primarily on the practical business of actually creating these diagrams. The style is deliberately informal and the focus is weighted towards the mechanics rather than the implications.

Integrated Enterprise Modeling Framework for Developing Consistent Distributed Systems

Although there are many existing and standard methods, such as RM-ODP and MDA, to develop a single distributed system to assure it consistent with the business requirements, the different enterprise-wide systems of one same enterprise might not be consistent with each other themselves because of the inconsistent business requirement model for each other. Enterprise model could describe the comm...
